Judy Mazel, actress and
founder of the diet plan, promises not only that you'll lose weight, but that
you'll be "skinny." The problem is she chooses a slightly different way of
combining foods - there are days where all you can eat are grapes; on other days
you can only have melon.
The Beverly Hills Diet claims to be
healthy. It claims to cleans you out, prevent disease, and help you lose weight
fast.
The Drawbacks for this diet is that it is monotonous and
unhealthy. Its difficult to live on one food each day. Too much fruit - not only
is this diet plan monotonous, but also it results in an inadequate intake of
protein and fat, as well as iron, zinc, vitamin B-12, calcium and essential
fatty acids. Weight loss is hard to maintain and it doesn't teach you how to eat
properly.

The most healthy

become healthier and much more attractive after losing 10 pounds.It's also

Just started the

new beverly hills diet and have lost 7 pounds in 5 days. it seems too good to
be true. i have always done high protein diets with success but have always
gained back my lost weight because i love potatoes and pasta and i could live
on butter which i could never really use on my high protein regimens
because there was never anything to put it on. ok so now i have
eaten potaotes, corn on the cob and pasta and i have gone through 2
sticks of butter so it amazes me that i have lost. i have not read the
book, a friend gave me the diet and the instructions how to follow it,
which did not include any measurements just to eat until you are full

lost 18

lost 18lbs and am almost at my goal. The main important thing for me is that
I can eat a variety of foods. I always gained weight on the
weight watchers type of diet. They just didn't work for me even when
I followed it exactly. As for the New beverly hills diet they have a

I like Atkins Diet
better Reviewer: Eddie 03-25-2004 I have tried this diet
and Atkins and I prefer the Atkins diet. I know friends that are on this Beverly
Hills Diet and they have all remained thin for months. Do major research before
starting any diet of this nature and make sure to follow the diet exactly how
the book instructs you to do. I found out the hard way years ago.

I am

Hills Diet and have been for 7 months. I lost 20 pounds and now am
maintaining successfully. They have a skinny kitchen you can order items
directly from the author and an excellent chat room online with very
helpful and knowlegeable folks. I am learning so much and eating a lot of
great food,actually anything I want from pizza,ice cream,pasta,breads you
name it and I eat it.

Very Unhealthy,

Beverly hills diet that came out about 14 years ago, its very unhealthy!!!
While I was on that diet I got the shakes and would pass out. If its the same
one forget it!

Old plan New
book Reviewer: unknown 03-25-2004 This is an old plan and
I've noticed a new version in the book store lately. I tried this plan 2
years ago and lost about 11 pounds in two weeks. However, I almost needed to
get a bank loan to be able to afford the fruit. Its an ok plan, but
expensive

Fun diet for the

diet during the summer where you can be a Fruitatarian! Our neighbors used to
call us the papaya people! My wife and I lost 80 pounds in three months between
us. She 35 me 45. It was after our first child, and we lived in Florida early
80's.

Feeling great with

weight over Christmas on this plan and ate very well. It makes you feel great
and lots of energy. I eat whatever I want by planning for it and
eating wonderful enyzmatic fruits in the morning. I have lost 20 pounds and
kept it off. It is worth every bite I put in my mouth.

This diet is not

bought in a garage sale (original hard back). I can not eat the food, due to
